| 1312 | To The Customer Care / Grievance Cell Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) Dear Sir/Madam, This is to bring to your notice the serious negligence and incorrect handling of my gas connection restoration case. My domestic gas connection was disconnected. As per IGL’s demand, I have already cleared the entire outstanding amount and have also paid ₹3,000 towards restoration charges. The payment proofs for both were already shared in my previous email, which are again available on your records. Despite making full payment, my gas connection has still NOT been restored till date. I have been calling IGL customer care on a daily basis, and every time I am assured that “your connection will be restored shortly”. However, no action has been taken on ground. To my shock, today I received an SMS from IGL stating that my connection has been restored and the service request has been closed, which is completely false and misleading. Immediately after receiving the SMS, I again contacted customer care, where I was informed that: • The system shows “connection restored” • I was asked to send photographs as proof that gas is not restored, only then a fresh complaint will be registered This is highly unacceptable and irresponsible. I would like to clearly state that: 1. My gas supply is NOT restored 2. Closing my complaint without actual restoration is incorrect 3. I have already complied with all payment requirements 4. I cannot be made to suffer due to IGL’s internal system or field failure I strongly object to the wrong closure of my restoration request and demand the following: • Immediate physical restoration of gas supply • Reopening of my wrongly closed service request • Written confirmation with actual restoration date & technician visit details If the issue is not resolved immediately, I will be constrained to escalate the matter to senior IGL authorities and the appropriate consumer grievance forum, holding IGL fully responsible for the hardship caused to my family.
